Balkans Group signed a MoU with the Assembly of Kosovo and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina

Norwegian Ambassador, Jens Erik Grøndahl, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca and the Executive Director of the Balkans Policy Research Group, Naim Rashiti, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Through this MoU, the parties commit to cooperate on advancing Kosovo’s EU agenda and reforms, increasing the Assembly’s legislative and supervisory capacities.  This MoU provides experts to support the President of the Assembly, parliamentary committees and groups in the field of dialogue, legislation, regional cooperation, as well as the accountability and transparency of the government and other public institutions, which report to the Assembly.

The Memorandum “Support to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, the President of the Assembly and his cabinet, parliamentary committees and groups” was signed under the project “Elevate peace & state-building agenda and advancing European agenda”, funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prishtina, and implemented by the  Balkans Policy Research Group.
