Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Reporting to: Executive Director

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager will manage and oversee the projects’ implementation and advocacy activities. He/She will ensure the effective and flexible management of the projects, within the projects framework and in line with the needs and expectations of stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure timely and duly coordination of the projects and implementation of all project activities in accordance with BPRG objectives.

· Support day-to-day supervision of project implementation and ensure successful project outcomes.

· Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure objectives are met.

· Draft project proposals and coordinate each step toward project implementation.

· Define project objectives, scope, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

· Ensure proper planning of activities and collect reports on their implementation.

· Lead project teams, assign roles and responsibilities, and ensure that the tasks are aligned with the project goals.

· Regularly communicate with BPRG staff to facilitate and stay up to date with the implementation of tasks, and to address any questions, needs, or concerns.

· Prepare and update a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities in line with the budget.

· Manage the delivery of the project according to the plan.

· Manage and adjust any changes in the project scope, schedule, and budget.

· Establish and apply quality control measures and conduct regular reviews to assess performance and address any deficiencies.

· Manage and oversee the project(s) closure processes, including finalizing documents and conducting post-project evaluations for lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

· Manage the relationship and communication with the donor and other stakeholders.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks.

· Perform all administrative matters related to project management.

· Ensure maintenance of proper electronic and paper filing systems.

· Other tasks as required by Balkans Group.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Advanced university degree.

· Proof of at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in project implementation and development, writing project proposals, and project evaluation.

· Proven ability to manage projects according to the scope, budget, and timeline.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· A strong capacity for effective teamwork and a high degree of flexibility in working hours.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with multi-tasks and deadlines.
