Balkans Policy Research Group (BPRG) continues to support the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in key area of state-building, to strengthen institutions and policy-making, reforms and European Integration agendas, dialogue with Serbia and political dialogue.
In the spirit of such efforts, Balkans Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Norwegian Embassy, on 22 April 2021.
This memorandum sets the modalities for engaging external experts for the government of Kosovo for the process of the dialogue with Serbia and other agendas related to dialogue.
The experts offer expertise, professional support, and content advice related to the dialogue process and are at the service of the Prime Minister, his cabinet and the Deputy Prime-Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue. Experts do not represent the government and are contracted by the Balkans Group.
Those include Bernard Nikaj, Leon Malazogu, Robert Muharremi, Muhamet Mustafa, Veton Surroi and soon to be included Blerim Shala too. Other experts may be invited depending on the needs of the government and the dynamics of the dialogue process.
This activity constitutes only one of five components of the Balkans Group project “Elevate peace & state building agenda and Advancing of the European agenda”, which is implemented with the support of the Government of Norway.
