The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today with the Swedish Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund, the head of SIDA in Kosovo, Henrik Riby, and the Executive Director of the Balkans Group, Naim Rashiti.
Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Ambassador Westerlund on the successful beginning of Sweden’s NATO membership while emphasizing that Kosovo’s membership in the same organisation remains a clear goal and a continuous commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Westerlund for the support towards Kosovo in the process of European integration and for the assistance provided for many developmental projects, including the project ‘Elevate peace & state-building agenda, and advancing European agenda’, implemented by the Balkans Group, which supports institutions with many international and local experts.
