Title: Research Intern/s

Status: Full Time – Paid Internship

Location: Prishtina, Kosovo

Reporting to: Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the overall supervision of BPRG Project Manager and Executive Director, Research Intern/s will conduct and help in researching and writing reports on policy developments, politics, security and governance, and regional issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research topics as needed by BPRG;
  • Independent Desk and Field research;
  • Write, assist, edit and review reports and articles for publication;
  • Support colleagues in the implementation of the projects;
  • Support implementation of project activities that relate to the overall vision of BPRG;
  • Maintain databases;
  • Attend internal and external meetings and take minutes.
  • Other tasks as required;

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent graduate of international relations, social sciences, development studies, interdisciplinary studies, or other related studies;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to plan and work within agreed timeframes;
  • Excellent language skills in Albanian and English (required);
  • Be able to work independently and manage tasks proactively;
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially in MS Word and Excel;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure;
  • Knowledge in designing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies is an advantage;
  • Extensive knowledge of key issues in Kosovo, the region, and related  international and EU issues is an advantage;
