Workshop: “Expert discussion regarding the Kosovo- Serbia Dialogue”

23 September 2020 – Balkans Group organized an online workshop on the Kosovo- Serbia dialogue, with the experts of the field. This event primarily focused on guiding the development of the web platform, which BPRG is launching to increase citizens’ involvement and understanding of the Kosovo- Serbia dialogue process.

The platform aims to become citizens’ primary source of information regarding the dialogue and is based on the principles of simplicity and multi-layers of information. BPRG is dedicated to create an unbiased and verified content that would ensure a factual overview of the agreements and the dialogue, therefore is consulting experts of different profiles and ethnicities.

During the workshop, the experts were given the content and were encouraged to discuss and analyze it. They were further expected to contribute to the content’s objectiveness and preciseness.

The participants welcomed BPRG’s initiative as an important and necessary project, which will benefit the citizens at large, who have felt themselves so detached from the whole process during this time.  They further emphasized the necessity of focusing on the challenges that are still present and hinder the implementation of the specific agreements, which also interfere with the full normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

This workshop was organized as part of the project “Advancing Kosovo Institutions, Democratisation and Regional Cooperation” and falls under one of the regional cooperation pillars of the project, which aims to promote and support the dialogue on normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

This activity is funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Pristina.
