11 December 2017 – Balkans Group organised another workshop with youth representatives of NISMA, aiming to strengthen the role of youth in politics and in decision-making processes inside their parties and in the institutions. Youth participation in decision-making contributes to quality of policies, empowers youth, offers more opportunities for them and increases competition within political parties. Transformation and change of generations is widely preferred. Yet, youth has limited opportunities to grow in, and influences politics.
Youth activists of NISMA suggested a number of steps how to prepare young generations of politicians. They involved in elaborating and expiring their views on the current issues that Kosovo’s society faces, state building, democratic consolidation, institutions, dialogue with Serbia and the future.
