Balkan Policy Research Group (BPRG) continues to offer its support to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the key areas of state-building, by strengthening institutions and policy-making, reforms related to the European agendas, dialogue with Serbia and political cooperation.
In the spirit of these efforts, the Balkans Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Norwegian Embassy, on 22 April 2021. This memorandum determines the modalities for engaging external experts in the process of the dialogue with Serbia and other agendas related to the dialogue.
The experts will offer expertise, professional and substantial support for the dialogue process, and are at the disposal of the Prime Minister, his cabinet or the Deputy Prime-Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue. External experts do not represent the government and are only contracted by the Balkans Group.
The list of experts includes Bernard Nikaj, Leon Malazogu, Robert Muharremi, Muhamet Mustafa, Veton Surroi. Blerim Shala is expected to join the Expert Group as well. Other experts might be invited or engaged depending on the needs of the government and the dynamics of the dialogue process.
This activity constitutes one of the program components of the Balkans Group which is implemented with the support of the Norwegian Government, as part of the framework of “Elevate peace & state-building agenda and advancing European agenda”.
