13 December 2017 – Balkans Group continues to promote youth participation in politics. We held a workshop with members of the Youth Forum of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). LDK youth branch is organised and seek more reforms in Kosovo’s politics; they have highlighted a list of challenges for their more active participation in the party forums and decision-making. Activists target role models they want to follow and want more interactions and opportunities to get more training and advance in party structures. The group showed a great willingness to discuss topics that are important to them. The necessity for reforms in the education sector and visa liberalisation were among the principal concerns discussed during this focus group.
